Turns out, it is pretty cool. There are trails, trees, lots of BIG dogs and water. I had the best time in sniffing all the new areas. There are lots of nooks and crannies to smell. What I do not like about the park is that all the other doggies like to play fetch into the water and get out and shake water all over me...I don't like getting wet! The closest to the water that I'll get to is on the rocks on the shores.
I'm not much into rough house playing with other dogs either,...I just enjoying sniffing, and sniffing some more. Daddy wants me to get in the water like the rest of the other dogs, I think he is wishful thinking. He forgot that I hardly like taking baths let alone swimming in the stinky lake water...eeewww! I did get my feet wet though! All the other pups did look like they were having a super good time.
Mama made me pose for a "kodak moment," but I wasn't having it...I do not like pictures either! I'm glad that Spring is finally here. Hopefully it will not get too hot too quickly here in Texas, so we can go to the park often. Happy Spring!

This silly process goes on for almost 5 minutes. It is cruel I know. Don't I look ridiculously hilarious?
My Mama eventually gets the Tricky Ball out from under the couch and I get to play with it. I sure am exhausted after it all. I guess its my Mama's way of playing with me. I don't think its all that funny though!

I would like to introduce you to my pet fish..."One Fish." He is a lonely little fella that swims around in this 25 gallon tank in my bedroom. One day, my roomate Susie gave me a challenge and asked if I've ever eaten fish food. She said that if she doesn't eat her dinner, her daddy sprinkles shrimp flake in her kibbles and it taste extra yummy. I decided that I wanted a taste of his extra smelly fish food, so I decided to help myself to my pet fish's food when Mama and Daddy was out to dinner.
As you can tell by the container, it was super hard to open the jar and I had to work on the container for a while before all the smelly flakes came out....and when it did..., it was super smelly, and super yummy! I lapped up every last bit of it while Susie sat and stared.
When Mama and Daddy got home from their dinner, I got quite the scolding. They told me how disappointed they were of me and said that I was a bad girl...worst of all, they said that I had eaten all of One Fish's food and that he would have to starve until they were able to go to the store to pick up more food for him. I felt so guilty. I tried to tell them that it was Susie who provoked me to do it, but they didn't believe me. That Susie...always getting me in trouble!
I said I was sorry and begged for Mama and Daddy to quickly go to the pet store to refill on One Fish's food, but they were not able to until three days later...One Fish starved for 3 whole days. I cannot imagine what that must have felt like. I love food too much to do that. I felt soooo guilty. Mama said that I was lucky to not get a bad tummy ache for eating the fish food. She and Daddy eventually forgave me and One Fish has his food now. Everybody is happy now, and they now have forgotten that I fulfilled a challenge and tried Fish Food. How many pups out there can say that they have done that? Hugs,
CoCo Puff
the Doggy Friends I met. I'm usually the shy puppy in the park because there are so many of them...especially big pups. I got to meet a new friend, Lola. Lola is a fellow Puggle and her and her mama were super nice to me. They are from Indiana. I also got to meet Goomba, a standard Poodle. My daddy especially liked him because he had a funny
hair cut. I pretty much stuck to myself most of the time at the park. I like to sniff all over and explore rather than rough house with all the other wild bunch. Mama said I have gotten better at socializing and I'm not as
big of a chicken when it comes to sniffing other dogs. I had a really good time and I was super tired afterwards. I tried getting comfortable in the car on the way home, but somehow that never happened. I ended my dog park trip with a bath.
That is the only thing I hate about going to the park. Mama insist that I need to be cleaned and dirt free when we get home. I've gone to the park 3 Sundays in a row and have to suffer through a washing 3 times this month. I think its time for a break from the park for a while to let my fur heal from all the baths I've taken. I hate baths, but I love the park! I guess its a fair tradeoff..jpg)

51. I waggle my tail so much when mama and Uncle Phil comes by to where my body wobbles in circles.

60. I've destroyed some expensive things: daddy's LV wallet, Uncle Gary's vision glasses, daddy's shoes, and a whole lot of other things belonging to Uncle Gary.
61. When I need alone time, I spend it under the futon in the living room.
62. I get my teeth brushed, but it is not my favorite.

90. I've convinced everyone to give me and my roomates a treat as soon as they walk in the front door.
91. I'll start talking to my dad when he puts me to sleep in my kennel. (that's why I get to sleep in his bed with him.)

Hugs,
CoCo Puff

Look what Santa Paws gave me for Xmas! For being such a good puppy, I asked for a list of things for Xmas this year and look what I got...I got a bunch of yummy treats, Dingos in all shapes, sizes and flavor, new squeaky toys, milkbones, a new collar, and lots more. For some reason, I couldn't find my gianormous dynamasaurous bone anywhere...I think Santa Paws left that one out. I am very grateful for what I've received, Thank you. I will be sure to share my goodies with Susie and Duke since I know they will share theirs with me.
Now...back to me, which one should I open first?...Dingo Wag n' Wrap or Milkbone? Which squeaker toy should I destroy first?...the fluffy fishbone or the fat cat jackrabbit? Well, Xmas was great, hopefully every pup out there had a pawsome one too! May the New Year bring good health, lots of love and many more treats to every pup out there!!!
I guess part of living in Texas is not liking the hot weather and making the most out of the so called cold weather. Christmas is eight days away and the leaves on our trees are barely changing colors and only a few have made it to the ground for me to sniff or chase. Now, if I can only convince my Mama that it is not cold enough for me to wear clothes. I hate clothes. Susie and Duke sports their sweaters with pride, I will stan
d as stiff as a log as long as I have to, protesting for them to take it off. Daddy will rescue me and not make me wear the stupid things...he remembers that I have fur, Mama on the other hand loves to dress me up like I'm a little girl...yuck!
So I feel like I'm pretty smart for a pup! I've never been to puppy kindergarten or any kind of professional training. I think I work very hard for a good bite to eat. My roomate Susie seems to think that I'm a show off...I just think that she is spoiled and never have to earn her keep. My mama and daddy makes sure that I listen with yummy treats and manage to get me to do lots of stuff: I can sit, down, rollover, and rollover the other way, bang bang, sit up, shake, wave, twirl, look on command, catch a cookie from my nose, high five, give kisses, leave it,...and the list goes on. Mama wants me to be able to know as much as Preston the Puggle does...but I think I have a long way to go. Mama says I'm definitely more Pug than Beagle because my Beagle sniffer seems to be broken. I'm not really good at finding toys and recognizing them by name...I'll need to work on that! Other than that, I'm super loved for all that I am!
