The Annual PUG-KIN Fest!

This past Saturday, Mama and Daddy took the day off and took me to the annual PUG-Kin fest. This was the first year I got to go. We usually miss the fest due to both Mama and Daddy having to work. The festival was sponsored by our local Westlake Animal Hospital and was hosted by DFW Pug Rescue. To my knowledge, DFW Rescue Group is one of the largest Pug Rescue groups in the nation. I had never seen soooo many Pugs in my life.I kind of stuck out like a sore thumb...there were not many cross breeds there. I was lucky enough to meet a Chug (chihuahua & pug mix).I also met a puppy English Bulldog, so I was not the only odd ball out. There were Howlloween Costume Contents with fun and games. I didn't enter the Costume Contest because I don't like to wear stuff, but Daddy insisted that I wear my Longhorn T-Shirt since we had a big game that same evening. So either way, I was stuck in clothes! (by the way, we ended up crushing Mizzou!) I don't think there were any talent contest, or I would have sure to win the "talented dog trick" category. Then there was an area for Fall Pictures. Mama HAD to make sure I posed for a picture.Overall it was a great time...the people were nice, the weather was beautiful and I enjoyed it!

Hugs,
CoCo Puff

Wow Coco! That Pug-kin fest looks like a lot of fun! I don't think there is anything like that around here. You are such a good puggle for getting your picture taken. I am glad you had lots of fun! XOXO Peanut

Whoa, that's alot of pugs in one place. My mom thought the one with spots was really unusual until she read that it was an English Bull dawg! Glad you had a bud so you weren't the only odd one out (but then, at least you're 1/2 pug right?)

Hi CoCo! Thanks for all your support! It is funny....my mom said that this diet that I am on is harder on her then it is on me! She must have lost her mind!! Last night she was eating lucky charms and I had my head in her lap just hoping she would drop a green marshmallow charm! No such luck!
Once my 12 week period of food only is over, I will def check out those cheesy puffs you mentioned!! Thanks again Coco!

Hugs and Licks,
Bruschi
