Cabin Fever

It has been record cold here in Austin, Texas. We haven't had any snow, but the temperature has gotten down to a low 9 degree at night and a high of only 32 degree in the last week. If it would have rained in addition of the low temperature, I'm sure we would have gotten snow too. This year we've had record heat and now record cold weather!
In turn, I've had major Cabin Fever these last two weeks. It has been too cold for going to the park as well as going for a decent walk. I don't mind the cooler weather...in fact, I love the cold, it is the humans that cannot take it. Therefore, I've been cooped up for a while.

And then finally, today I got to go play outside. Mama and Daddy took me to an empty street in our new neighborhood to play fetch. Mama made the tennis ball extra enticing by slitting it open and then putting some extra smelly salmon treats in it. I was definitely interested in playing fetch then!
Look at me retrieve the tennis ball!!!
Daddy did a very good job in throwing the ball far enough for me to get a good run! I got to run and stretch out my legs. I had a great time and it was a good relief to my week long Cabin Fever!

Hugs,
CoCo Puff

Hi, CoCo!
Here we don't get snow either... but it has been very cold too!
Glad you had a chance to go outside and enjoy the sun and a great time playing with your Dad!

oh coco, what a nice day to play fetch with mom and dad. Your neighborhood looks very open and the streets are nice and wide.
I heard the weather is all wacky everywhere these days. It is very cold here too. I like playing in the snow but sometimes it is too cold to even go potty.
Stay warm!

Oh isn't this cold miserable! I must say, I don't like it even more than the humans! So my walks have been shortened as well. Lucky you got to go out for a nice long run though!! Warmer weather ahead! I think this cold streak is just about out of the south!

Hugs and Licks, Bruschi

Cabin Fever I can surely relate Puggle CoCo. I live in Chicago IL USA. It sure gets cold here. I am glad that human Granny has my dog potty pan so when I can not stand outside too long, so I just use it. Snicker! Snicker! I love the snow but it makes my little paws freeze. Well Spring is just around the corner at least I hope it is? BOL!
Stay Warm, Ariel <3

Hi CoCo!
I just started blogging not to long ago. It's so much fun, and I've had a great time finding other puggles' blogs too. Hope you have a great day, and an even greater 2010.

Hugs,
Cooper
