Watermelon for Me!

The hot weather is not letting up, and it is only June. Daddy and I got something refreshing today...

At first, I thought it was one of Mama's Oversized Toy Ball for me to play with, but it smelled too sweet to be a toy! After waiting patiently as Mama cut it open, I was given my very own slice!

It was super delicious and really refreshing. I need all the help here in Texas...Its Hot! Forcast said we might get rain tomorrow...I highly doubt that! More please.....

It is Hot Hot Hot!

We have had record heat this June! I think we have had more than 14 days of over 100 degree days. Being that I don't want to overheat, there are no going to the park for me, no going for long walkies, and definitely no fun in the Sun! You cannot go too far without shades!I hope everypup is enjoying a cooler Summer than I am!

Antlerz!!!

The chew I usually prefer are rawhides, but I'll take what I can get when there is not a Dingo Bone around. My Mama had read that Antlerz are nature's own dog chew and ordered me my very own Antlerz.Antlerz are 100% Natural and are rich in Minerals! The best part is that they taste great! I like them so much I close my eyes when I chew them.The best part of the Antlerz are the softer center part. Bon Appetit!!!

Recently, Mama and Uncle Gary have been cooking for me and my roommates. Daddy says that I eat better than he does...what do you all think?On my gourmet platter, there are cubed sweet potato, turkey sausage, cooked chicken breast, steam broccoli & vegetables, fluffy white rice, with a peanut cookie to garnish.My plate looks so colorful and yummy, I'm ready to dive in and eat it all up!Of course I go for the meats first!Now, I am not always served such a beautiful plate. Most of the time, everything is mixed up together and I eat it with my puppy kibbles. I get a happy variety. I sometime even get diced hard boiled egg mixed in with everything. It is super yummy and I love it all!!!

Mr. Gingerbread Man

I found a new stash of toys under the bathroom sink...Mr. Gingerbread Man was the first to come out and introduced himself.He looked way too happy for his own good. Mama asked me to smile with him for the picture...I was not amused.We became fast friends, and Mr. Gingerbread Man was given a warm welcome by me and my K9s.Like all my other stuffies, Mr. Gingerbread Man is almost fuzz by now...Mama will have to capture his carcass.

New Yummy Chicken Treat!!!

I am truly a bless little Puggle. No matter where my Mama and Daddy goes, they are sure to come home with a treat for me! This time they came home with a bag of new treats. They brought me "Nature's Logic Organic Chicken Snack."It is a 2 lb bag of all natural ingredient chicken snack in shapes of mini bones. The person at the store told Mama that the ingredient are so pure that it is okay for me to have as many as I want. I really like that person for saying that.

Of course, Mama only gave me a few to start off with. They look so yummy, two wasn't cutting it...Mama I need more than two!!!

I eventually suckered Mama for a couple of more Chicken Snacks and then Daddy gave me a few and when Uncle Gary got home...a few more for me again. Yum, yum! I was nice and shared my new treat with my roommates, Susie and Duke too. Thanks Mama and Daddy for the new treat!

Stuffie Appreciation...better late than never!

I know that the official Stuffie Appreciation Day was a long time ago. I have Mama to thank for being so late it posting my appreciation. Mama has been working too much to have any time to take my picture. Not that I mind it too much because I do not like my picture taken.

As an inspiration from Preston the Puggle http://prestonthepuggle.com/wp/ , Mama thought I would look cute doing the same kind of pose.
Needless to say...I wasn't too amused with the idea. It was really hot outside today, so posing for pictures was exhausting.Thank you Preston and Preston's Mommy for being so creative in taking pictures. It was a great idea and my Mama loves my new colorful pics. I hope everyone enjoys them because I had to work hard to look extra cute!

Happy Birthday Uncle Phil!!!

May 21st is my Bestest Uncle Phil's birthday! For his birthday, he bought me a new toy and a dress. Mama talked him into buying me the dress, but lucky for me it didn't fit...hee, hee! Uncle Phillip...for your special day, I will give you lots of love kisses and try to take care of my new toy...even though I think I already broke the squeaker! Be sure to make a wish and I hope it comes true!

Boring, boring, bored!

The weather has been pretty yucky lately. My Mama and Daddy have both been working opposite schedules, so taking me to the park has been hard to come by. I'm tired of being stuck at home, so I'm doing a count down to Mama and Daddy's next day off together. I should have a more exciting and adventurous post next time! Afternoon Snack!!!

Mama came home with more food for me, some treats and my favorite sausage. Today, I had a mid afternoon snack. Mama gave me Van Patten's Natural Balance Beef Sausage for a snack because I was begging for it while she was cutting it up. We usually only get a few pieces of this sausage sprinkled over our kibbles during meals, but today...I got lots of sausage as a snack!

And of course, I had to look cute and pose for the camera.

Okay can I dig in...it smells toooo good to have me wait any longer!

Now, my patience is running out and I refuse to pose for any more pictures until I get a taste!

Okay, I'm going for it! Umm umm good!

Thanks Mama...we will need to work on a faster release time the next time you decide to give me a snack!

Stupid Pet Tricks!

I have reason to believe that my Mama is intending on sending me to the Circus. Its either that or she forgot that I was a dog and thought that I was a seal. This is ridiculous. The most recent has been, me with the ball.............. I am really good at the command "Leave It," but this has gone far beyond just the mere command. Collectively she has put me on this balancing act far too often...me with carrot treats:...then me with a gourmet cracker...and the craziest of them all...me with a Dingo Bone

Mama has recently have gone as far as having me balance a piece of Mango on my nose. I was not able to show you all that picture because it was taken on a camera phone, otherwise you would know how crazy this has become! And through it all, this is how I feel about it.........

April 30th is my Daddy's Birthday! He is so special to me that I thought I would share this special day with all my friends too! Lazy Sunday!

We had Severe Thunder Storm this morning before it was time for me to wake up. There was thunder, lightning, lots of rain and this stuff I heard Daddy call hail. There was so much noise. Daddy said that because of all the April Shower, we could not go to the park today...so it ended up being a lazy Sunday. Susie and Duke also spent the day lounging with me. This is what we look like all lined up on top of the couch.Mama went crazy with the camera again, so here is Duke looking annoyed.Susie also did not look too amused to have her picture taken.We had a super relaxing weekend. I hope everyone else did also!

Loofa Dog!!!

So everyone had a loofa dog but me. Mama finally decided to get me my own Loofa Dog...problem is, it is as big as me. For some reason, my Loofa Dog is exactly the same size as me, which means it was the one for the Retrievers. My Mama has started to buy me oversized toys thinking it would last a little longer because she thinks that big = durable. WRONG! She forgot that I'm a professional stuffie toy destroyer.Mr. Loofa Dog just doesn't know what he has coming. Just give me about 10 minutes alone under the couch with him and I will have him fuzzing in my paw. I think that is why I'm only given Mr. Loofa Dog under scrutinized supervision.
