Dog days of Summer!

It has been the hottest Summer on record here in Texas. The closest thing I get to daring to get sun exposure is catching the rays that beams through the window in the mornings. Other than that, it is lazy days til it cools off.
Nothing beats relaxing and napping all day indoors in the cold air conditioning.
Although, I do miss sniffing at the dog park and having extra long walks. It is just not possible when the temperature has been an average of 103 degrees. I think today's forecast said it will be record 105 again!
I also wear a black fur coat all year long, so again...Indoors in the COLD A/C it is until at least Halloween!

Hugs,
CoCo Puff

Hi CoCo,

Sorry about the hot weather keeping you stuck in the house. We are having a cooler than normal summer. Which is nice, but weird!

Hi CoCo! You look so sad to be couped up in the house! Awww!! But don't feel alone....I have the same problems here in Florida. It is much to hot to go out during the daylight hours. Summer will be over soon enough.....hang in there and keep cool!

Hugs and Licks, Bruschi

Awe! so sorry that you have to stay in Coco. Human Papa says that his Mom and Dad are having the same weather in Alice, TX. Try and stay cool. Check out my new post of the doggy pool party. Wish they had one for you. Better weather should be comming real soon!

Hi Coco!
I hope it cools down for you soon! Our summer in NY hasn't been too hot, we have barely made it into the 80's and it's rained ALOT! I'm glad your staying cool in those temps though!

I know how miserable I am with my fur so I can only imagine how you must feel with your black fur! the only good thing I can think coming from the heat is pampering from your mommy and lots of ice cubes!!

I hear you, Coco. It has been HOT and humid here too. I go for walk super early and stay in A/C room all day. Mom also spent hours combing out my loose undercoat..the helps a little.

Oh CoCo,
I've been feeling the same way here in Southern California. Last week, everyday was over 100. I have to take walks really early and then later at night. My mom made me Frosty Paws to help beat the heat. I also try to go to the beach as much as I can. Check out my new blog!

Hopefully it gets nicer there soon so you can enjoy long walks and the dog park again.

I wish I could send some cold there in exchange for some heat. Its been in the 70s and cloudy here for two weeks :(
