I have reason to believe that my Mama is intending on sending me to the Circus. Its either that or she forgot that I was a dog and thought that I was a seal. This is ridiculous. The most recent has been, me with the ball..............
I am really good at the command "Leave It," but this has gone far beyond just the mere command. Collectively she has put me on this balancing act far too often...me with carrot treats:
...then me with a gourmet cracker
...and the craziest of them all...me with a Dingo Bone

April 30th is my Daddy's Birthday! He is so special to me that I thought I would share this special day with all my friends too! For your birthday Daddy, I thought I would wrap myself up as a gift to you!
I also promise not to hog the bed and give you lots of love kisses! I hope you get everything you wished for! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Mama went crazy with the camera again, so here is Duke looking annoyed.
Susie also did not look too amused to have her picture taken.
We had a super relaxing weekend. I hope everyone else did also!

So everyone had a loofa dog but me. Mama finally decided to get me my own Loofa Dog...problem is, it is as big as me. For some reason, my Loofa Dog is exactly the same size as me, which means it was the one for the Retrievers.
My Mama has started to buy me oversized toys thinking it would last a little longer because she thinks that big = durable. WRONG! She forgot that I'm a professional stuffie toy destroyer.
Mr. Loofa Dog just doesn't know what he has coming. Just give me about 10 minutes alone under the couch with him and I will have him fuzzing in my paw. I think that is why I'm only given Mr. Loofa Dog under scrutinized supervision.Hugs,

The park was super smelly this time because I saw lots of dogs playing. I was trying to mind my own business in my sniffing when a rambunctious puppy named Evie decided to chase me around. Evie is a Chow/Newfoundland mix and is only 4 months old. He was full of energy and wanted to throw me around like a stuffie toy.
As you can see, he will be a super big pup when he is fully grown. I wasn't too amused when he chased me around. I found refuge on top of a rock and he was still persisitent. At one point, I thought he was going to push me into the water.
After all the chaotic chasing I continued to sniff.
And sniff some more.
I had a really good time at the park and I'm already counting down to the next trip. This is what I looked like after the park and after the horrific bath I have to endure everytime after the park. I was one tired puggle!
I hope everyone also had a fabulous weekend!

Turns out, it is pretty cool. There are trails, trees, lots of BIG dogs and water. I had the best time in sniffing all the new areas. There are lots of nooks and crannies to smell. What I do not like about the park is that all the other doggies like to play fetch into the water and get out and shake water all over me...I don't like getting wet! The closest to the water that I'll get to is on the rocks on the shores.
I'm not much into rough house playing with other dogs either,...I just enjoying sniffing, and sniffing some more. Daddy wants me to get in the water like the rest of the other dogs, I think he is wishful thinking. He forgot that I hardly like taking baths let alone swimming in the stinky lake water...eeewww! I did get my feet wet though! All the other pups did look like they were having a super good time.
Mama made me pose for a "kodak moment," but I wasn't having it...I do not like pictures either! I'm glad that Spring is finally here. Hopefully it will not get too hot too quickly here in Texas, so we can go to the park often. Happy Spring!

This silly process goes on for almost 5 minutes. It is cruel I know. Don't I look ridiculously hilarious?
My Mama eventually gets the Tricky Ball out from under the couch and I get to play with it. I sure am exhausted after it all. I guess its my Mama's way of playing with me. I don't think its all that funny though!

I would like to introduce you to my pet fish..."One Fish." He is a lonely little fella that swims around in this 25 gallon tank in my bedroom. One day, my roomate Susie gave me a challenge and asked if I've ever eaten fish food. She said that if she doesn't eat her dinner, her daddy sprinkles shrimp flake in her kibbles and it taste extra yummy. I decided that I wanted a taste of his extra smelly fish food, so I decided to help myself to my pet fish's food when Mama and Daddy was out to dinner.
As you can tell by the container, it was super hard to open the jar and I had to work on the container for a while before all the smelly flakes came out....and when it did..., it was super smelly, and super yummy! I lapped up every last bit of it while Susie sat and stared.
When Mama and Daddy got home from their dinner, I got quite the scolding. They told me how disappointed they were of me and said that I was a bad girl...worst of all, they said that I had eaten all of One Fish's food and that he would have to starve until they were able to go to the store to pick up more food for him. I felt so guilty. I tried to tell them that it was Susie who provoked me to do it, but they didn't believe me. That Susie...always getting me in trouble!
I said I was sorry and begged for Mama and Daddy to quickly go to the pet store to refill on One Fish's food, but they were not able to until three days later...One Fish starved for 3 whole days. I cannot imagine what that must have felt like. I love food too much to do that. I felt soooo guilty. Mama said that I was lucky to not get a bad tummy ache for eating the fish food. She and Daddy eventually forgave me and One Fish has his food now. Everybody is happy now, and they now have forgotten that I fulfilled a challenge and tried Fish Food. How many pups out there can say that they have done that? Hugs,

the Doggy Friends I met. I'm usually the shy puppy in the park because there are so many of them...especially big pups. I got to meet a new friend, Lola. Lola is a fellow Puggle and her and her mama were super nice to me. They are from Indiana. I also got to meet Goomba, a standard Poodle. My daddy especially liked him because he had a funny
hair cut. I pretty much stuck to myself most of the time at the park. I like to sniff all over and explore rather than rough house with all the other wild bunch. Mama said I have gotten better at socializing and I'm not as
big of a chicken when it comes to sniffing other dogs. I had a really good time and I was super tired afterwards. I tried getting comfortable in the car on the way home, but somehow that never happened. I ended my dog park trip with a bath.
That is the only thing I hate about going to the park. Mama insist that I need to be cleaned and dirt free when we get home. I've gone to the park 3 Sundays in a row and have to suffer through a washing 3 times this month. I think its time for a break from the park for a while to let my fur heal from all the baths I've taken. I hate baths, but I love the park! I guess its a fair tradeoff.
